Education and Training

Over the last 13 years, Eric has been focusing on integrating over 5500 hours of clinically relevant education into the therapy delivered in his office. It has produced an eclectic approach to restoring health and harmonizing lifestyle with unprecedented clinical results.


MASSAGE THERAPY INSTITUTE OF COLORADO, DENVER.

Year I - 1051 hours. Comprehensive study of the main aspects of therapeutic massage and bodywork from the work of Mark Manton, ND. Modalities include Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, and neuromuscular therapy (NMT). This is the core program leading to certification in massage therapy in Colorado (CMT).

Year II - 400 hours. An advanced program in massage therapy and bodywork for graduates of Year I, that combines regional myofascial therapy and acupressure energetics as they relate to the tendino muscle channels (sinew channels).

Year III - 400 hours. Postgraduate program that once offered manipulative medicine and structural integration.

Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine (M.S. TCM) - 2,850 hours, graduate level educational program in Traditional Chinese Medicine (acupuncture and related modalities), tui na (physiotherapy/therapeutic massage), internal medicine (Chinese herbal medicine), Chinese nutrition, and energetic exercise/meditation, with a grounding in Western medicine, all as it is currently taught in mainland China. This degree is the new standard for certification and licensing in acupuncture and Oriental medicine in the United States and Colorado.
